Default Tires to drive on during the winter in the Bay

Alright you guys, I have MY07 S2000, but I was wondering if it's safe or should I drive the car during winter with the stock tires. I know that they're maximum performance summer tires, and was curious how they are in the bay area rain and cold weather?

Stock tires are fine, with decent tread left of course.

They're fine. It's California, not Minnesota.

don't drive too aggressively then you will be fine. I have good year eagle F1 gs-d3, heard they are good for all seasons in bay area.

you stock AP2 tires, RE050, are good in the rain compare to other summer performance tires.

If you are going to buy a new set of tires, I would get the RE050A Pole Position or the Eagle F1 GS-d3 (?) if you are concern about wet traction.
