I need to have some tires unmounted to fix tpms sensors and then remounted. Where do you guys go to have tires unmounted/mounted for your aftermarket wheels? I live in Dublin but will go anywhere to keep my wheels from getting scratched. Last shop scratched and dented two wheels.

Orlando was the one who installed tires fir me. It was perfect. But they told me unmounting the tires may damage them. So I was looking at other places.

Did you paint the wheels? Normally factory aftermarket paint is pretty good quality and shouldn't chop or flake. I have two sets of tires installed on my powdercoated rims with no issues.

I have Work VS-XXs. The lip got some scratches and a small ding. I know it wasnt there before prior to the tires being unmounted.

I've been pretty happy at the Big O on Macarthur Blvd in Oakland (near Emeryville) for my stock S2000 and other cars. Redwood General Tire in Redwood City also has an excellent reputation and handles a lot of work for Ferrari of Silicon Valley. They repaired a tire for me and managed to preserve the speed rating. I didn't take the car there myself though - FoSV took it on my behalf while doing some other service.
