Default Tire help

So I've been looking for a single ap2v2 rear wheel for a while and I found it. I bought it and it came with one newer tire to replace the ones on it. I'm kind of confused even after reading through information on tires if the tires that are not mounted will fit if the numbers are different than the ones that are mounted on the tires.

Worn out mounted tires have: 245/40R17 91W

The new tires that were given to me with the purchase of the rim are: 225/45R17

could anyone help me with this if I were to get the new tire that was given, would fit perfectly with the ap2v2 rear wheel? Thanks.

Im confused, but you can punch in the tire and wheel specs into Tire Rack and see if they match up.
225 on the rear of AP2 seems a bit slim.

Rears should be 245 or 255. Just make sure they match on both sides.

225/45/17 are for the front wheels...
245/45/17 or 255/40/17 are for the rear wheels...
