I agree with everyone's comments about Dublin Honda. I wanted to test drive one, but they insisted I purchase the floor demo first. Then I could experience VTEC and the power of S2K with my newly own car. I turned around and left.
Got mine with Kim Hoang at San Leandro Honda. Their internet pricing service was fair and the complete sales process was very efficient.

When I went to Dublin Honda looking to buy my S2000, the salesperson actually let me and my girlfriend take the car out by ourselves for a test drive. That is about the only good thing I can say about Dublin Honda.

I have a feeling that probably just about ALL of our cars were testdriven in VTEC-land at least a few times before we bought them... (Did anyone here NOT bring the RPM's over 7K while testdriving cars?). The only exception that I can think of is if you happened to pick yours up at the dock...

Went to Dublin with a friend looking for a Civic Si. They told us you had to buy the car first then then you could test drive. I am not making this up! And this is on a car that is not even selling well!

I am impressed with everyone's take on the process...I just want to add that I have purchased a new car from Carsdirect.com and been 100% satisfied and so have the two others i have recommended this site to. Their currentprice for my penninsula zip code is about $500 over invoice, color of choice, or $30,285, and you can have the car delievered, for additional money, so you do not meet the dealers people at all. I will buy from them again I think. No I don't work for them or sell cars for a living, just a humble carnut/gearhead like the rest of you.

PS I was set to get a 2003 when i found out about some of the changes coming for 2004, and this is only a few months away....so i am waiting to drive that one first.
