Oh big thanks to DJ Qube and SteveUCI for coming ALL the from way from L.A. just to join us on this drive. I know Qube was hurting after getting only 2 hours of sleep and 3 red bulls.

 

Nice pictures we'll have to post ours up later today! Nice drive too route was GREAT up empire grade until the 2-way one lane road at hwy 236 .

 

that was an great drive yesterday, except the incident with the boy in his half helmet. it must of been an awesome sight to see a line of s2000 flying down the road. it was nice meeting all of you for the first time!

 

Sorry about the sketchy single lane road through the forest. Bit of short cut from my Santa Cruz days.

 

Hey, great drive, everyone. It was.... err.... "intense" at times! You certainly have less room for error up here than on the SoCal twisties. Your two-way traffic roads are skinnier than our one-way roads! The intermittent sunlight through the redwoods really plays tricks on your eyes, too. If you are ever in Socal, we'll have to drive the Malibu Canyons...
