empire grade is off hwy 236 which is off hwy 9... so a meeting place closer to cupertino, saratoga, los gatos, campbell, etc would be closer to the jump off.

a word of warning, i've heard it's getting really HOT around hwy 9 lately, so be careful getting there. i don't think there would ever be much traffic on empire grade, but you never know. i was up there about 6 months ago and didn't see a single car for about 15 miles.

I'll try to be there!

I was up in the Santa Cruz Mountains last weekend for Doc Wongs driving clinic and it was *HOT* with *Bears* on the main roads (hwy 9 & 35 & Skyline Blvd.), but nothing really on the side roads, but do look out guys.

There have been a lot of Motorcycle accidents and they're SERIOUS about cracking down.!

2 months ago I personally witnessed the pulling over of 12 YES twelve motorcycles at one time (they blocked the road... Hwy 35) !!

Drive sharp, but safe!!!

Ack! I'm finally taking my S up to the Bay Area, but I'm not getting there until Saturday night! Doesn't a SUNDAY drive sound good to you guys?

Art, there is a chance of rain on sunday. Maybe we can organize a group dinner to welcome Qube home.

Alright you guys, count me in for this one. I'll be getting into town in the late morning... I agree that a meeting point closer to the drive would be better, but then I don't live there so I don't know.

Someone hammer out a specific time and agenda!

Okay peeps, it looks like SteveUCI and myself are leaving SoCal at around 4:00am to meet up with you guys! You gotta love it! Drive breakneck speed for 6 hours straight just so we can meet up with you and drive another couple hours! I think we're gonna be taking 101 if you guys are changing the meeting spot from Milpitas, though.
