Thunderhill: Thur, 5/26, NASA
Hi All,
I'm going to be flying down from Oregon to the Bay area over the Memorial Day weekend for the wedding of a friend of my wife's. While there, I figured I'd beat on a rental car at the track for a day. NASA's doing an event at Thunderhill on Thursday, 26 May. I generally don't like NASA, but this event will be for advanced/intermediate drivers only, so there will be NO RACE GROUPS and NO NOVICES.
It promises a lot of track time, and if you want to do back to back days that week, you can drive with NASA on 5/26 and the NoCal Racing Club on 5/27. For more information on the 5/26 NASA event, check out the Nasa Webpage. If you want to drive on Friday, 5/27, check out the NoCal Racing Club site.
My buddy, Dave (supercharged NSX) will be there, but I don't know of anyone else who's attending. If you're up for a good event, this looks like it'll be a fun one. Hope to see a few of you there.

Hi Speeding, great. I look forward to meeting you. Will you be in your S (in which case, I'll just look for the car and will introduce myself)? I'll be in something innocuous, but I'll be paddocked with my buddy Dave (black NSX).

Oh, hi Matt, sure I remember now. You were hunting down the 911, I seem to recall, when I was last at Infineon. Great news -- I'm glad to hear that you'll be at T'hill when I'm there. I'll look for you. You'll find me in another dog-rental, but I'm really coming out just to f(*&6ck around for the day. Beats hanging out with the bridesmaids, and I don't know any of the groomsmen at this wedding.... 
Haven't been doing much kart racing -- got busy with the S last summer (more mods, it seems the process never ends) and then with the garage this spring. If you're interested in the garage project, check out a thread I posted in the Portland owners forum.

Kster, come say "hi" when you're there. Just look for my buddy, Dave's, black (early 1990's) NSX with Oregon plates, as it's probably going to be the easiest car to identify in the paddock.
