Good save. Hopefully you realize what you did wrong that caused the car to point itself towards the wall.

shehatezme, most (but not all) organizations allow S2000s on Thunderhill with only the stock roll hoops. I've driven with Trackmasters, NASA, and Hooked On Driving there and they're all OK with stock roll hoops.

Thanks all for your comments. I screwed up 3 things but did good on 1 thing: way too deep into T14 got me out of position, too early an apex into T15, and when I dropped 2 wheels I didn't let the car settle before easing back on track. The good thing: as soon as I started spinning left I "put 2 feet in" (brake and clutch) and didn't try to "ride it out"...I ain't got the talent to be succesfull at that!

For those that were at the NASA weekend April 25-26 (the weekend after my video), you may have seen the track dry stuff next to the tire wall at the exit from T15. In a later session after my spin, a Cayman S unfortunately lost it in T15 and stacked it into the wall (the guy was OK). It was the same Cayman that drove past me in my video. Nice guy, beautiful car, big repair bill...

Insurance will typically only cover if the event is classified as performance driving course which means instructors.
