If the guy choices to go with a vendor with a proven track record that is more expensive, so be it. You gave him another option, which he decided not to go with. So far, you are the only person with a positive experience with Flagstaff Honda on this board that I'm aware of, so excuse him if he decides to be a "sucker".
Search the forum. There is a thread out there with a bunch of positive experiences.

I just want to pass the knowledge around that you do not have to pay the inflated prices for these items just because they are forum sponsor. Remember, competition is good for us. I almost paid $500 more too.

I meant specifically regarding purchasing a hard top through them and having it shipped, not local business.

Can I ask you what the chance that would be? The hardtop comes shipped in a Honda designed box with a insuranced freight company. I imagine it is the same box that hardtopguy uses.

Another sucker born every minute.

Fumanchu,
You were nice to offer good deal and good advice...
I as everyone on this board respects that and appreciate it.
On the other hand it is up to CTR_2_SIIK to decide for himself what is best for
him... He requested Flagstaff to have it insured as I would have or anyone with
any good common sense.
The cost of insurance for $2,500 declared value is only $25 and I would have paid that on the blink of an eye.
Now the way I see it, I would not do business with any one that refuses to insure the shipment. Wether
the face value is $250 or $2,500 no matter how well its packaged or no matter
who packaged it... The fact of the matter is that I am smart enough to know that
shit happens and I like CTR_2_SIIK and any one with a set of brains will not let
shit happen, not if we can help it...

So don't go insinuating that he is a sucker because he didn't take your advice,
cause that is right down out of line...

I just asked the seller regarding why there is no insurance option, and he told me the shipping already cover the insurance!

I just order my front lip from them (Flagstaff Honda) so will see what
