Thanks. I'll let you all know how it comes in and make sure to post some pictures. Hopefully it will be pictures of the ht on my S and not pieces in the box.

I am 100% sure that the hardtop with the damage did not come from Flaggstaff Honda.

I bought a hardtop from Flagstaff Honda and couldn't be more pleased. It was in Honda packaging in a huge cardboard type pallet. There was probably over 100 pounds of cardboard protecting it. It is how Honda ships it out. There was no damage whatsoever. Even if there was, it was fully insured and Eric at Flaggstaff is not going to dick you around.

And yes, it is $2,700 shipped with EVERYTHING included. He even included instructions on how to install it and it came in under 2 weeks.

$2700 was the standard in Hawaii too at Pfleuger Honda in Waikiki. I bought mine there in 2002 for $2700 shipped and got it in 60 days.

CTR_2_SIIK ,
$2500 is a good deal! If you want to have it insured you must insist from the seller that you want insurance... Most of the trucking companies offer insurance, so your supplier should be able to get it for you... Usually there is a minimum cost of approximately $25 or $0.50 per $100 value, for declared value insurance. For a $2,500 declared value you would pay a minimum of $25...

If its not to late, why don't you ask the shipper to use FED EX ground and insure it.
In any case good luck. We look forward to seeing the pics of the HT on your car.
We'll keep our fingers crossed for you dude.

Haha thanks. Well when I posted this I was first going to order it from flagstaff but I decided not to, due to the chance of damage to the hardtop. So I ended up bitting the bullet at the last moment, and ordered it from hardtopguy.com

If the guy choices to go with a vendor with a proven track record that is more expensive, so be it. You gave him another option, which he decided not to go with. So far, you are the only person with a positive experience with Flagstaff Honda on this board that I'm aware of, so excuse him if he decides to be a "sucker".
