Thumbs up For those doing the Group Drive to SacS2KDays V

For the people that are planning to drive with the group, which route is more convenient?

1.) Meeting in Dublin and then heading to Elk Grove on 680 or 5?

2.) Or, meeting in Pinole and taking 80?

I guess 80 the whole way is the best for SF residents but, I was just wondering if other people were interested in a different path...

Let me know what you think.

Vasco Rd. ---> Walnut Blvd. --> Main St. --> CA-160 --> Hood Franklin Rd. -->Blair's House.

CA-160 is actually a pretty fun road. Very little traffic.

Considering that some (unnamed) parties were openly passing a (still obvious) unmarked CHP car, then creating a rolling road hazard (when said parties blocked all 5-6 lanes) in front of said CHP car last year. . .I'm guessing the chances are pretty high.

i'm voting for backroads as well...it'll make for a more scenic drive, though may be longer so we'd have to leave earlier.

but then again, i don't know how much my vote counts since i have no clue where any of this is or if i'm even part of this group that will go on this section haha
