it's the material of the cover. the dust cover is not meant to be used outside as it's not waterproof. If it rains, your car will get wet. The guard cover is advertised as not absorbing water which to me mean, water proof.

Dust cover is usually meant to be used in a garage while the other one is for outdoor use against rain, wind, tree sap etc.

That's what I thought! haha

But the guard cover is not OEM and the dust cover is?

@Cal: told you so!
afaik, Honda only makes the dust cover. Anything waterproof/outdoor is 3rd party.

Agreed the OEM car cover fits the s2000 like a glove but it's meant for occasional outdoor usage at best to prevent bird poop, dust, etc. In the rain it won't keep your car dry that's for sure!

There's a company that makes really sexy satin car covers in any color you want (lingerie material..hehe) but it's mainly for indoor use as well.

Most outdoor covers have 2 or 3 ply and more heavy duty with a cable lock. You need one because on windy days those elastic covers don't stay on the car too well.

Covercraft also makes a really cool canopy cover that is used when the top is down which I use the most often.

I'll buy you a dust cover... but not sure if it is useful covering your car outside with it......

screw it. I admit I'll probably be too lazy to put it on and off. This is probably why people sell theirs anyways.
