My manifold that cracked was the cast manifold.
my bad i meant a good cast manifold such as the ILP one i run personally, or even the PFab. whats the greddy turbo max out at just for comparison's sake? I'd like to say that most if not all ILP cast-mani users push 400+WHP daily driven without problems.. I know i do and i'm not exactly "easy" on it given the amount of flyby's I receive

And I definately agree with J that the FullRace is probably one of the best manifolds designed ! But personally for me I want a turbo that likely will not fit in that position so I'm going with a sidewinder haha

Hey Dag, I had Casey notch my frame to fit my Gt30, we can help you out if you ever DID decide to do a full-race mani and like a GT42 turbo....Ain't nothin like 800RWHP eh?

Jeff, you can Jethot coat it or HPC, I think HPC is better, but they are kinda expensive.

What manifold are you looking into buying? Cheap manifolds are not something I recommend putting on an S2000 or any turbo for that matter. Thin wall cracks. Bottom line. Cast cracks too due to heat and weight stress, which is probly what happened to your greddy.

The ONLY manifolds I've seen w/o problems with support or aftermarket coating is Full race. I'm not trying to be biased towards them since I run one myself, but they are hands down IMO the best fabricators for manifolds on S2k's. I know there are nice sidewinder styles out there, but I don't know which ones need extra bracing to work properly.

Keep in mind that Full-Race does not warranty their manifolds if you coat them, I don't know if it's the same for other manufacturers,
full race ftw
