Jeff, you can Jethot coat it or HPC, I think HPC is better, but they are kinda expensive.
What manifold are you looking into buying? Cheap manifolds are not something I recommend putting on an S2000 or any turbo for that matter. Thin wall cracks. Bottom line. Cast cracks too due to heat and weight stress, which is probly what happened to your greddy.
The ONLY manifolds I've seen w/o problems with support or aftermarket coating is Full race. I'm not trying to be biased towards them since I run one myself, but they are hands down IMO the best fabricators for manifolds on S2k's. I know there are nice sidewinder styles out there, but I don't know which ones need extra bracing to work properly.
Keep in mind that Full-Race does not warranty their manifolds if you coat them, I don't know if it's the same for other manufacturers,

Hey Dag, I had Casey notch my frame to fit my Gt30, we can help you out if you ever DID decide to do a full-race mani and like a GT42 turbo....Ain't nothin like 800RWHP eh?
