It starts at 8pm. Most people arrive around 9 something though. It's at the McCarthy Ranch (asian side).
Oh and I'm sure someone can chime in for shops in the bay area for the gear install. I think Voodoos2k has them installed. Maybe he can tell you where he got it done.
