By comparing these numbers between Vu and I it looks like I had a better launch but he's got more horsepower. Is that right? Still trying to figure these numbers out.

That was my 3rd run where I pulled on you out of the lights, but you gained on me during the last 1/8 mile. The temp was still pretty high, so I believe I was down hp compared to you. If you look at our I3 times, my speed is faster, but at the end, your is faster, which tells me you were gaining on me.

I believe my gears helped me in the first 1/8 mile and your hp helped in the last 1/8 mile. Things changed once the temp came down and my car started making more hp since I started to pull on you and Jeff in the last 1/8 mile towards the end of the day.

Just my guesses, as this was my first time drag racing.

Mac, with the AP2, at what PEAK RPM were you shifting?

I shift right when the rpm gauge starts to flash so I'm guessing right around 8,000. I think fuel cut is 8,200
