This is different from the new "stimulus plan" which was passed by the House today. The stimulus plan will give "rebates" to people with qualifying incomes; a $600 check to individuals who make less than $75,000/year, and a $1200 check to couples who make less than $150,000/year, with I think an additional $300 per child. This is a one time deal, and you are encouraged to spend the money to help the economy.

Just filed my taxes today and am amending my previous answer to " A whole lot of nothing since I don't qualify". Focking Congress and their arbitrary "high income" limits and child based rebates.
