don't worry bro you'll be fine. my whole back took me 40hours plus.. If you could take the pain do it all at once. If not cut it in half. Honestly, I personally think the recovery is a b i a t c h.. Dats all.

Depends if your body can tolerate the pain. I hate to say it but the worst place on the back is right in the middle on your spine. Not to mention the healing time as well.
I doubt any good tattoo artist will go on for more than a couple hours. You want them to do a good job so take your time. I hope this isnt your first tat either.
