Let's turn it down on the cop hating. I respect for the most part that cops have a thankless job in general, and they put themselves in harms way, but being human beings, they tend to abuse their power and forget that public perception is very important.

I was cool w/ one PD in Sac when I brought my Mango out to a meet. He totally scared me cuz I heard a car pull up and someone saying "who's clean 1974 corolla is that?" I turned around to say "mine..." but I got scared for a sec. Everyone was laughing at me. He got out of the car and we started choppin it up about how he used to race these cars back in the early 80's!! He even knew about the venerable toyota 2TG! He said anytime you get pulled over just mention my name and to call him and chances are we'd get out of trouble. Bad thing is I forgot him name!
