So if you get pulled over, do you just show that to the officer & youre good? I bet he'll try to get you for something else since he'll look like a dumbass if you show the certificate.

not really. There was a thread about some guy doing that on another board and he got PWNED cuz the cop said "It was legal at that point in time... How do I know you didn't put back the loud exhaust..." Cop sent him back to the ref...
WE LOSE NO MATTER WHAT! I think the ref needs to take a pic and note what exhaust is on there. Cops wasting tax payers $$...One of the dB tesing centers in solano county know one cop all to well. They always ask if officer xxx gave the ticket...

^ That is retarded. Maybe if they can note more information on the ref ticket that would help - which will probably never happen.
Maybe you can take a picture of the exhaust & have it signed off with the ref certificate.
