I still remember the days when OEM HTs were going for around $2K & that was a standard price. I think I sold a GPW one here before for like $1900. Sigh, gone are those days...Now the OEM tops used are going for almost the same rate as used authentic Mugen tops.

2k for a used top that has been bought by several people I can see that. But what about those who bought it new and only one owner? I bought my top new and wouldn't want to take a 1k hit, that's just ridiculous. You gotta pay to play. I'm glad my top has gone up in value.

Its not a static price, it was a going rate. People can sell whatever they want for however much they want; but what I am saying is that the trend/street price in 07-09 as I recall was around $2K for a used top regardless of how many times it was/was not whored around.

"You got to pay to play"...yeah, Im pretty familiar with that & so are many others on this local board

Maybe it's just me but I like buying stuff new. Knowing that I was the first and actually know the history of things. But I can't argue that the 2k for a used top is a good deal, but I can't sell myself short lol

Crazy huh. I remember selling my OEM top back in 06-07 for $1600 with OEM hardware. Now they're selling for a premium without hardware.

please bring me back to those those days... atleast the guy from florida is asking 2800... bay area people are asking for 3-3500 firm for their oem HTs. and i agree, at that price range..i'd rather look into a authentic mugen top or even just forget about an HT entirely.
