Default Suspension Upgrade

So I am looking for stiffer rear suspension. I am tired of the car feeling like a Pogo stick in back.

I have about 3k to 4k to drop. Coming off a very stiff kidney busting Motorcycle I don't care how hard the ride is. I am looking for the best handling possible at this point.

What do you recommend?

Thanks
Robert =)

It depends on your expectations. I wanted the best handling possible out of my suspension as well, so I went with KW V3's. But I don't track.. so it was TOO much coilover for me.

So what are your plans for the car? hpde? autox? dd?

GSXR? Not really sure about the other bikes but the gixxers were coming with a ton of high speed compression which resulted in bent rims and bruised kidneys
I heard the newer ones were good but have yet to ride one. I think I still have an 02 1000 somewhere hopefully it'll make it's way out this summer.

I'm not sure how good you are at setting up a suspension, but in reality, the high end stuff does you no good unless you know how to adjust them properly.

which is why I said what do you plan on using it for?

Why buy a $3k suspension when you can't set it up? (not saying you can/can't just the argument I'm proposing).

KW V3's will preform the BEST for double duty track/dd if you can set them up properly for the two. And they're $1800 bnib, or theres a perfect example of a set in the bay area fs section for $1600 WITH solid topmounts!

Then, spend the extra $1-2k you just saved on some track time, and sticky tires.

JRZ's and Motons are among the best, yes. But they're only as good as the tuner. I would make them seem like megan track coils 'casue I'm not good at tuning .

It's ultimately up to you.. but suspension is more about tuning then "i have the best of the best" that's what jdm tite aero is for y0.

I would disagree with that statement. I haven't tracked on the new TEIN Mono Flex's yet, but so far, I'm pretty impressed with them with the limited exposure I've had with them.
