Default Suspension Squeeks

Hey guys,

I am new s2000 owner and picked mine up from the original owner about a week ago. It is a 2002 with 119,000 miles and I just started noticing an obnoxious squeaking sound coming from the drivers side suspension. No it is not the squeak of a sports car. So I'm thinking it could just be warn out bushings, maybe some lose sway bar links and hopefully not the shocks. The car is on Swift Springs but I believe all the other pieces of the suspension are original. I was wondering if any of you guys have had similar problems or if you have a good shop you take your s2000's to in the Bay Area. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks! I might take you up on the offer once I get more familiar and comfortable with my car. I'm good friends with Ali if you know him. I believe he rolls up there with you guys in the red e36 M3.

Best way to get familiar and comfortable is by logging seat time with our crew. Yes I know Ali. He's awesome. Come out with us! Maybe Ali can convince you!

Most "suspension" squeaks are actually the hood latch needing grease (do a search and it's a common issue). It sounds crazy but it's true. I had the same "driver's side suspension" squeak and it was the hood latch.
