Suggestions for Valetine's Day dinner

No suggestions on restaurants because I'm cheap, but a few years ago I did one of the Hornblower dinner cruises in the bay on Valentine's Day and it was cool:

The food is passable and you can hang out on deck and get some nice views of the Golden Gate bridge. Overall it's fun, even found a private place up top to light up a blunt.

they have a pretty garden and its pretty relaxing. food was good too...not super expensive like some restaurants in the city.

www.opentable.com to find your restaurant and www.yelp.com to find out what people really think about it. good luck finding a reservation! the weekend before or after might have more options.

do a pre- or post-valentines dinner. i hate eating on valentines day because most places have a preset menu with a very a limited and bad entree selection. not to mention, prices are up the roof.
plan a whole day of activities followed by dinner and the "after party" . that's what i'm doing
opentable is a good site for restaurants. i went to scotts seafood last year. not bad.
