hey, would like to help but your being way to generalized. there are many many rims out there. what are you looking for? weight? rarity? color scheme? functionality? style? budget? and so on... and other details, what tires you plan to run? are you gonna run staggered/non? or want to keep your fenders stock? let us know what your looking for, and im sure ppl would be glad to help. or even have some rims to sell.
for me i am running volk ce bronze on gpw s2k 17x 8.5/9.5 +47/+40 but still have some stuff to work on before i can throw them on.
and i havent seen those volks sf on an s2k in person, so cant comment... goodluck!

you had a set of ce's stashed away and you didn't tell us? I was wondering why you wanted to flare your shit, your offset doesn't look too aggressive, is it really necessary?
baller!

You could try some Gold Advan RGII's in 17x7.5 +45 and 17x8.5 +50 which has a nice concave face in both front and back (although its fairly mild in front and rear) might be a little more than $1500, but talk to Weaksos, they may be able to get you better pricing. Ask for Ken.

i say you get some RPF01s, and use the left over cash get some coilovers, tein flexes or monoflex or something.

If you're just saying lowering springs in general don't offer any performance enhancements then sure, but if somebody just wants about a 1 inch drop for looks then teins are great for the price. There's no point buying coils if you aren't going to track your car, it's a waste of money.
Plus rpf1s plus tires will most likely run you over 1.5k if not very close, so I doubt he will have enough leftover for any type of coils. You do realize that tein flexes cost over 1k right?
On topic: For 1.5k I really don't think you can get anything decent other than rpf1s. Since you are ap1 you'll need to calculate in the cost for tires as well. Unless you meant your 1.5k budget is JUST for the rims? Some rpf1s in gold aren't bad. Go 17x8/9 +45.

thanks for the input everyone. And yea hellspare im not planning to track my car or anything i just want to give it the drop for the look. thanks for the suggestions and ill look into those Enkei's. I wanted to have that sort of deep dish look but not quite if that makes sense? the gold does look decent in the rpf1's though. thanks!

Well until i save some cash I know a place where i can get a steal of a price on powder coating my stock AP1's to bronze. Has anyone seen this or have pictures of this done? i would like to see how theyd look on my BB or any opinions. Thanks!
