did you test them both on the same patch of road? Different roads have different characteristics. 101 is the worst steaming pile of shit I have ever driven on, but 280 drives great little to no bouncing, and I run about 2x stiffer spring rate. I would be willing to guess you just got a good patch of road. Hard to compare unless you do it back to back.

Did you get it from a dealership? which one?

Eibach springs are smooth, even smoother than a stock ride(in my opinion)

suspension is pretty stiff stock on the thing.. braces installed?
