Stolen Tags
My registration sticker was stolen off my license plate!
Only $17 to replace, but it's the hassle of going to DMV to get it processed!
Anyways here's a great tip from the girl at the counter: After you put your tags on your license plate, slice the sticker into a few pieces. That way if thieves try to steal your tags, it comes off in pieces and is useless to them

been doing that for a long time now....
also dont stack up your tags, those stickers are reflectorized. reflectorized stickers have glass particles, they dont stick too well to begin with. so it's always better to put them on the clean flat surface.

waited months for one lousy sticker and within the week noticed how something was missing from the rear. it was old car though and parked at BART in oakland. slice'n'dice is key

psh
just don't put them on in the first place... no stickers mean no stolen stickers... which means no problems

plus our front ends look better without them.

Don't forget use a heat gun or hair dryer to heat the plate up so the sticker sticks better.
actually youre wrong, heating up reflectorized stickers will make it brittle and will not stick for a long time. even regular vinyl, you only used heat gun on curves and uneven surface... to stretch a little but not too much as you will burn the vinyl even with light heat.
