comprehensive is two way coverage right?
that's right. u must be vietnamese, cause vietnamese refers to insurance terms as one way (liability) & two way (comprehensive/full coverage). but if you say one way or two way to an insurance agent or police officer, they have no idea what you're talking about.

What happens is that if you have comprehensive coverage is that insurance will pay you out after they play 20 questions with you.

-get a police report
-tell insurance exactly what happened the way you know it.
-after 30 days if they cannot retrieve your vehicle, you are entitled the cost of something of equivalent value (you can argue for more based on your car's condition) but usually something KBB/NADA which should cover your car.
-if found within 30 days, you will be re-imbursed for any damages that were not there prior to theft.

sorry to hear, but chances are you'll profit from this situation lol...
, but if you have lots of mods, then that will be depends on your insurance coverage. they might or might not reimbursed for the mods, just kbb price for the car.

oh yeah huh... and that car was towed on streetcleaning day..

OP put your license plate number into DPT (department of parking and traffic) and see if you have a new ticket. that would make a lot of sense if that yellow one was yours. PM me ill give you some advice on what to do.
