Stock Rim/Tire Weight and Findings
Did you know the bore size is different between front and rear AP1 rims?
I was bored today, so I wanted to see if I can put the rear rim on the front hub, and vice versa. Found out that the front bore size is bigger, so the rear rim would not fit in the front. Idiot proofing I guess.
I pulled out my digital scale today, found the following weights of the AP1 rims with Yoko tires on.
Front: 38.6lbs (70% left)
Rear: 39.2lbs (tire was down to the wear bars)
In comparison, my 16" RSX rims were 35.7lbs with stock tires (50% left), and they are for sale! Check here: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.ph...f=177&t=507432

i thought if you get a flat in the rear, you're supposed to put the rears on the front with the spare and the fronts on the back..?

um.. they shoudl be the same size because in the manual, if you have a flat in the rear, you put BOTH rears on the front and swap the flat for the spare and but BOTH fronts on the rear... is this incorrect?

For weights, see this post.
The front axle stub is 70mm, rear is 64mm. You can put a front wheel on the rear axle but you can't put a rear wheel on the front axle unless you really want to break stuff.
If you get a flat, the spare always goes on the front axle. If the flat is in the rear, you move a front wheel back and put the spare on the front.

It clearly states this in the manual.
