8:15 showing in mountain view, what do you guys think? That gives everyone time for dinner and to avoid traffic.

Actually that sounds like a great idea... I was waiting for the lines to die down before I went and Tuesday should work fine that way.

Too late. I saw it yesterday.

The girl I bought the tickets from said show up half an hour early (for a Saturday Matinee) to get good seats. We were like 200th in line.

We still had decent seats, though.

Century 22 at San Jose has a screen that is showing the movie using a DLP (digital light projection) projector. Since Star wars 2 is filmed using digital cameras, the picture quality should be better.

are the seats comfy? I'd rather have a comfy seat for my bony ass than get bruised just for a slightly better picture.

and the DLPs aren't that much better......yet.

Does the Century 22 theater have THX? There is a huge difference between dolby digital and THX as I found out when I watched Lord of the Ring. THX sounded more crisp.

From what I understand, only theatres that have DLP projectors can even show the movie. That is why it is showing on less screens that say Lord of the Rings.
