just looking for opinions from you guys... why, i don't know. haha

bulletproof has an ssr group buy going on and i was somewhat contemplating ssr professors. i've always liked wheels with a multi-piece design and five-spoke pattern. i believe sky-chicken had these on his car.

since i haven't had my s2k for too long, i never got a chance to see his wheels in person at a meet. i have seen pics of them, but i'd rather get first hand impressions.

what did you guys think? too bling? nice lip? etc.

pm me if you want to keep it anonymous. ...well, at least private.

thanks.

They look ok...Deffinatly not a favorite... I like the Racing Harts better or the Works better they are the same style. Just a FYI Bulletproof seems to take forever on GB's Id just buy through 4IG.

thanks Preston.

i sort of had the same take on the wheels... ok, but not a fav. i just wanted to see if the pictures of sky-chicken's car were the reason why i never went goo-goo for them.

...and i'll definitly buy though 4ig next time... support the local guy!!! i almost got in on that bulletproof cusco gb... seeing how long it's taking now, i'm sort of glad i didn't.

Personally I like them... they remind me of the old 5 spoke chrome rims of the past that everyone used to run... depends what color s2k your putting it on i guess.. the black goes with anything IMO..

they look good in that picture

and in the pictures of the red gp sports car...

but the pics of the wheels on sky-chickens car just don't seem the same.

maybe it's the lack of lip... or in the lack of drop... or the bling finish.

probably all of the above.

i think its an aggressive rim... so you need to have the car compliment it ... like a full kit.. drop.. etc... if your car is stock height, i don't think it looks as great... perhaps someone could try photochop it

Multipiece SSRs look quite nice on the S2K. I'm not as much a fan of black on black though. Here's a closeup of my SSR GT3s.

My person opinion is those wheels look to heavy for such a slim line car. I think they would look better on a Supra or something beefier.
