spider man 3

too many sub plots and stories going on simultaneously. the fact that it was 2.5 hours was prominent. movie DRAGGED and i started to get restless at 2 hours. (keeping in mind i sat through all 3 hours of titanic, lord of the ring, gangs of new york and most martin scorsese movies that are 3 hours like nothing. didn't notice those movies were 3 hours long and i watched titanic like 4 times).
i think the acting was a tad under par and some of the lines were just flat out cheesy. I remember one part in the movie where i looked over at my co worker and we started laughing cause some line i think toby maguire was spitting was just cheesy and poorly acted.
My initial reaction was whatevers, but after thinking about it for a bit, it did suck. Thank goodness i didn't pay for my ticket cuz after sitting at home and kinda thinking back about it, i would have been annoyed that i paid 10 bucks for a crappy movie and wasted 2.5 hours.

i'll go against the flow and say that i liked it.
besides the excessive beating up of spiderman, it was over all good. not true to the the story line and lots of things going all in different directions and the characters werent reall portrayed well, but overall i think it was alright. i wasn't expecting a helluva lot though, maybe thats why i didnt think it was too bad.
no thumbs down here, but no thumbs up either

So many movie critics in here.
I enjoyed the movie. Was it a little long, perhaps, but I never looked down at my "watch" to see what time it was, so it wasn't that long. Maybe seeing it on the IMAX made it better, but whatever. I thought it was worth the $14.

i think all of you guys went in with expectations too high
like sooo many sequels or triologies, people have these huge grand built-up expectations - then once you see it it never lives up to what you've built up in your own mind
i enjoyed it
even if it could have been better

Waiting on F42. Transformer is dicey lol. I don't remember much of that anymore. I grew up on batman, spiderman, superman, xmen.
Thought the last batman wasn't too bad. Christian Bale wouldn't have been my ideal Bruce Wayne though.
I liked all 3 xmen.
Didn't like any of the spiderman ones too much (I think Kirsten Dunst and Tobey Maguire really killed it for me). LOL.
And I liked the last superman. Could have chosen a better Lex Luthor though.
