Default Speeding Ticket

So there I was coasting down 580 almost to 238 when I got pulled over by po-po. I gave an explanation..blah blah and needless to say the guy was acting like a douche and wound up giving me a ticket. 83 in a 65. Yes I was indeed speeding but I don't think I was going that fast. It was more like 75ish. Cop said he got me on radar. I plan to go to court and see if I can get the ticket reduced to 75..ish. Any ideas? Thanks.

P.S.
Anyone use Waze?

The 9500ix is a good one to invest in (may be the best on the market at the moment), it's not that hard to climb up to 83mph in the S on the highway lol.. Just ask for leniency and maybe slow down if you don't have a radar detector yet.

Valentine one has saved me so many times. Paso Robles to Sacramento. CHP use in car radar , its points front , front left to oncoming traffic and rear.. but down in LA. They hide with laser ,radar won't do nothing for that. Unless you laser Scrambler. With cost like a grand.
Best thing is don't speed when your the only one on the highway. When there's no traffic in front of you he can pick you out. no traffic behind you, he has enough time to get to get you.

Ahh the meter maid caught and scammed you. Radar detectors take some getting used to to use them effectively. They are only a warning to slow down so the pigs cant catch you for dought money. Cops are dousche, yes caught them in their element and sounds like you admitted guilt by giving the pig an explanation. Talking to cops is a bad idea because the only reason they ask you questions is to trick you into admitting guilt. You fall for this trap and they write on the back of ticket "admission of guilt" so you have really crappy odds of fighting it.\

When a cop lights me up, i immediately pull over and turn the car off, roll down the windows, put the keys on the dash and then put my hands out the window where the cop can see them with my license, insurance and registration in hand. When the stupid piggy starts to ask me dumb questions, I tell them simply that the incident is being recorded and I invoke my right to remain silent. Do just that, most will get pissed because then you wont fall for their bullshit gotcha games and you have a much better odds in court. I havnt had a ticket stick yet with my methods, sure ive been to court a handfull of times but its always dismissed.

We all know speed limits are for safety and the pigs have no financial incentive ya? Quotas and chips on the shoulder are the run of the mill.

Get a detector and learn to use it effectively, lazer jammers are good too because CHP LOVE lidar.

Valentine One Radar. Owned three so far. All my friends uses the V1 also. Never got a ticket after. Extremely accurate with range and location. The V1 arrows are very reliable to warn you, as the driver, which direction and proximity CHP is located; therefore giving you enough time to slow down to speed limit and/or blend with flow of traffic. There's a few times I got a ticket, and those are all when I did not have a V1. The majority of exotic cars in Gumball 3000(Cannonball Run) uses the V1. One of the best add-on decision to my car. Drive with confidence. Invest in one it will definitely save u two tickets which will pay for itself on the long run.

I appreciate everyone's input. I'm definitely going to invest in a radar detector. I heard nothing but good things about both the Passport and the Valentine one. I do like the arrow feature on the valentine. The passport also has this add on that I can buy which looks interesting https://www.escortradar.com/store/la...ifter-zr4.html Any thoughts on this? I should have invested i this a long time ago. I'm still going to court to fight the ticket. No reason not to imho. I have a few tricks up my sleeve and maybe I can at the minimum dropped to a lower speeding ticket. Thanks..
