Default spark plugs

hey guys, im planning on changing my spark plugs soon and was just wondering if there were any spark plugs that you guys would recommend besides oem? ive been reading on the forums and it seems like there's a toss up between if oem's are better or if going 1 or 2 step colder is better for the engine. i dont mind getting the oem spark plugs, but if i could get another set of plugs for cheaper and still get the same (if not better) performance out of them, then i'd rather go that route.

btw, hardtopguy sells oem spark plugs for $69.14 before shipping.

any help would be great!

Unless you are boosted, no reason to go with colder plugs.
