I would love to go to blacktrax, but it's difficult to make it during the workweek. Is there anything in the southbay that's open weekends? I think i have a busted radiator...

a little way from the south bay, but motorsport techniques in hayward & autoHQ aka autoheadquarter in redwood city are both open saturday & very good. talk to ron or kevin.

Not a performance shop, but Honda/Acura Connection in San Jose has good service and has a fleet of free well-maintained Honda loaners. Drop it off in the morning and drive the loaner until they are done.

I just had the condenser replaced on my daily driver and their customer service is very good.

+1 for Acura Honda connection. I've had them do body and mechanical work on the wife's old civic. One of the shop owners is an S2000 owner as well. Just make sure you call ahead because they don't always have loaners available. They are quite popular because of the free loaner program. Also, I don't believe they are open on weekends.

Exact Motors is always open on Saturdays. We are also open by appt. only on Saturdays/Sundays as needed

But we are not as much a mechanical repair shop as a specialty electronics dealer (stereo/lighting)

This is why I go to Joey's. I went there at 10:00PM (yes, 10:00PM) last night and had a full rear brake replacement job completed in an hour. Best deal in town, most reliable guy in town. Great social atmosphere surrounded by working lads with their s2000s. Works perfect for those people with a 9-5 job (or in my case a 9-9 job)! And before you say "hey, he's not in the south bay", I was hanging out with customers of his that commute from the south bay for the evening hours because they work too (and I came from the East Bay...)
