for the cash option it will be at one of the approved shops only I think, but if you choose to get repairs done it'll be the shop of your choice. I think through my insurance that quotes from multiple shops even not "approved" shops will do.

oh and you can opt for a new door, the insurance code is to return your car to the condition it was in prior to the incident. bondo doesn't come close as far as I'm concerned. I definitely would get a new door, bondo is

good luck on your repairs CASTRO, they'll probably give a fat settlement if you own your car. rear qtr panel usually comes to 5-6k to insurance

I unfortunately had a $1000 deductible on my comprehensive, so I have to pay that out of pocket. I called in today to get it reduced from $1000->$100 .... less than $10 a month increase.

Im confused, I called my insurance company Allstate yesterday and they said it was a collision Seems like most people here got it as comprehensive? Would that make my rates go up? If its like that, I'd rather pay out of pocket so does anyone know if I can still cancel it after I get the insurance adjuster to give me figures/details? This sucks

castro. it was under collision because there was a collision involved. your rate shouldn't go up. if it does, your insurance company is ripping you off.
