so I pull up to the curb, drop off my wife for bart, and am ready to leave. actual stopped time probably around 30 seconds. alameda county sheriff turns on the lights behind me, and tickets me for stopping in a bus zone! I'm not disputing that I stopped, but damn do they have to be so anal? I wasn't blocking a bus or was in any person's way. in fact there was so much room there 20 s2ks could have fit where I stopped. hate anal cops!

speaking of crimes at bart stations, that's the reason I dropped my wife off where I did, because it was the closest for her to get out of the car and get into the bart station. I told the cop that I was simply dropping her off, and the cop actually tells me to go around, drop her off farther away, and let her walk.

Watch out for a white camero CHP trolling on San Mateo bridge, and increased CHP activities on 280 also.
You would think they should spend more energy protecting critical assets against terrorists.
I drive this road all the time. If I am in my Kia sedan, I can zoom pass them running 75mph and they won't care. If I am in my Porsche (haven't gotten my S2K yet), they would follow me at 65mph just to intimidate me. It's called discrimination against sport car drivers.

Actually I think because this is a non-moving violation that it's harder to contest. My brother-in-law and one of their friends got the same type of ticket....$200...
....and they said they tried to contest it but weren't allowed to
