Its not too bad of a job, use the the dyi found on the site and you should be fine. Ive done three softop replacement jobs. Its just about taking your time and having all the ncessary tools. My first replacement took me 12hrs and the next two about 6/7 hrs each. I say its worth it if you learn how to do it. Shops charge around $700-800 for our cars i believe.

*$700-800 according to my experience when i was looking for a shop to replace mine.
Would u do someone else's car for 500? That's like 71/hr in 7 hrs...lol
Not bad considering its tax free, compared to a shop rate where you have to factor in the other associated costs that it takes a shop to stay open.

If I knew how to DIY soft top I'd do it. The best part is taking your time and listening to Trance/Electronica music while at it.

*$700-800 is how much shops were trying to charge me when i was looking to have mine replaced. That high $ quote is what made me take it upon myself to replace mine. I reside in Fresno and ive helped a couple of members here replace to theirs as long as theres pizza and beer lol! Some guy offered me $200 to do his a few months back, but he never came thru. Dont know why--i thought $200 was a deal
