hmm, now that you brought it up, i had something somewhat similar happen to me when i went up a small curb and then rolled right off. the panels are fine and there's no damage other than the jack point being bent a little bit on the passenger side. is it safe to assume that i shouldn't use this as a jack point anymore or should i bother trying to bend it back?

You probably don't want to use it as a jack point anymore. Even if you bend it back, you'd always be wondering if the integrity was still there.
