So Happy
#1
I just picked up my 2001 Silver/Black S2000 on Tuesday and, boy am I happy! The back roads of West Marin made a beautiful first day out for the new car.
I'm new to this board but very excited to meet others in the Bay Area who share the pleasure of owning an S2000!

Rizman,
Welcome! I hope that you find this community of S2K owners as friendly and helpful as I have. This is a great group of people.
See you on the road and remember: don't VTEC until 600 miles.

Welcome Rizman.
Take heed to dillehay's warning about the break-in period. I am finding this out the hard way. When I picked up my stook, I wasn't aware of the rev rule, and red-lined it twice on the drive home. Ever since then, I have been going through a lot of oil. Just took it to the dealer in Salinas (where I bought it), and they told me I have a blown seal. I asked if it was covered under the warranty, and they said no, since I violated the rev rule. I have been arguing with the dealer, but as of now, they are not covering the damage. It is going to cost me about $2,100 to fix this.

Greetings!
Just want to let you guys know that I just got my black/black last Sunday and man, WHAT A BLAST! Working slowly on the break-in period now. Any advise, suggestions, etc. Let me know!
Also new to the club so hi to all bay area owners. I'm in south bay (Santa Clara) but would rather be in SF or Berkeley.
Go Bears!
