they sell half day, for the last half of the day (like you said) and for like $5 less than a full day... so it's really not worth it! but yeah i believe checkout would be around 11... although you can ask for late checkout. i've left closer to 12 before.

try homeaway.com to look for cabins. that's where i found mine.

suggestion:
David Walley's Hot Springs located on the backside of Heavenly.
They offer a full suite with two master bedroom, living room, dining room, two bathroom, kitchen (with cooking ware, dishes, utensils, etc), patio, washing machine and dryer in your suite. Also you can access their outdoor propane grill, outdoor hot spring jacuzzi, swimming pool, wet and dry indoor sauna and many more.
I stayed there three times for the last three season. It is pretty nice especially the hot spring and sauna

okay so i plan to book the room, just need confirmation on # of people so i know how many to get. so far, i'm just going to get one room. it has 3 beds and looks like plenty of floor space for those who are willing to sleep on the floor =P the total for the room would be around $350 for 2 nights. please confirm that you will be going. thanks! i'll update the first post
