Hey guys, i'm about to check this out myself. I just got a ticket on sb880 near the 580 exit. Cop saw me pass two cars and said I was going 80 (but he must have just been eyeballing it so I think I might contest it).

If I contest it and lose, can I still take driving school (since this is my first speeding ticket). I got 75 in a 65 zone, anyone know how much this might set me back?

Radar absorbent.. I wonder whether it works...
http://www.jamradar.com/ram.htm

Also, are laser jammers illegal in CA? I've heard radar jammers are illegal because FCC prohibits broadcasting at certain frequencies, but what about laser jammers?

Well here is an update for you all, I have received back one verdict, if you all recall I received two tickets in two weeks for speeding. The verdict was for doing 80 in a 65 on 680. The court found me guilty but have been court ordered to attend traffic school even though I attended last November. I spoke to the court clerk on the phone and she said this is a good thing. What happens is no points will appear on my record but a ticket will show up. So, hopefully my insurance will not go up.

The second verdict I am still waiting for. just thought I would update you all on how successful www.ticketassassin.com is. So far so good.
