Side Marker Woes
My driver's side marker light broke while I was washing the car a couple of weeks ago. The clip broke off. I was taking it in for 7500 service so Walnut Creek Honda said it was a warranty fix, 'cept they did not have the part. Said it would be a coupla days. That was 12 days ago and no part...not a problem with air freight or anything relating to the week's horrific events, just that Honda has "superceded" the OEM part for some reason and it is NA.
Heard of any problems with fragile side markers light clips??
Otherwise I am still a big WC Honda fan. Stan Renz arranged for a ride to Concord to my office AND they came back at the end of the day to pick me up as well. First cabin all the way.

Would seem like a perfect time to switch to clear side markers (available through Giampiero at MG Racing). They look great on a silver--I know, I just did mine.

Hey Bob, I have my OEM set sitting around. if you need it until your replacement comes in, I'll be happy to let you have mine and you can just swap me for the new replacement when it comes in.

Thanks to all for the offers. I thought about the clears but I seriously doubt if Giampiero is gonna hook me up under warranty not that it is that expensive. If WC Honda has a problem beyond Wednesday I will take up Yu888's or Tyra's offer. Thanks guys. For now I will try and keep my self-respect despite the hole in the port side (or is it starboard side?)

When I changed mine with clears, I busted the clip on one of them as well. They're not too well built. Don't lose the wiring harness down the hole. It'll be a blitch to fish it out. Tie a wire to it and hook the wire one the lip of the hole. Then duct tape the hole till the new piece arrives.
