Default Sibling rivalry: WRX vs S2K at the track

I'm looking to get a track day as a gift for my sister who recently acquired a WRX. Neither of us has been before so I'm looking for some advice on which event organizer you would recommend for a couple of first time track participants that are not kooks. I'm looking at something early in the year and NCRC and CityTech both have events in February and March at ThunderHill.

Which would you recommend we check out? This will be a 2011 WRX vs 2004 S2000...as long as it doesn't rain I'm sure I can take her.

Thanks

Thunderhill is a good track for beginners, not a lot of walls. I'm placing my money on the WRX, its a lot easier to drive at the limit!

Hooked on Driving is very beginner friendly but a tad pricey. I would recommend them for a first time to the track though.

CityTech has beginner instruction with freedom.

For pure beginners, I suggest NASA. You will have dedicated instruction and a classroom environment to discuss your experiences. More importantly, you will learn what NOT to do on the track.

Thanks all. In response to a couple replies, Hooked on Driving is 2-3X more expensive than City Tech and NCRC which seems a little rediculous and NASA has no events at ThunderHill in Feb-March. I like the idea of beginner instuction with freeedom of City Tech but the NCRC event in Feb is only $99.

Having been to a couple NASA events (to clarify as a spectator, not a participant), I agree with Rob here.

You will find people have different biases about what organization they recommend for a variety of reasons.

I also agree thunderhill seems like the logical choice for a first ever timer. I know when I do my first it will be at thunderhill.
