Shout Out To BlackTrax
Hey Bay Area , I think this is the appropriate place to post this.
I need to give a HUGE shout out to BlackTrax and everybody working there including Jei, James, Aki, and everyone else who assisted in this project that I didn't get a chance to meet.
I brought them a used S/C kit to install. It was missing a few pieces here and there and they were able to track down the missing parts, bad parts, and get everything in its complete form for installation, plus installed the additional pieces I wanted to add on including larger heat exchanger, and gauges.
Everything that could go wrong on MY END, went wrong, and these guys went above and beyond to help and figure out a solution to each problem. I ran into numerous problems getting the right parts to them in time, and they were very patient and made it happen when it counted the most.
Biggest problem is I didn't have the funds to purchase an AEM EMS, injectors, tune etc so I wanted to run the stock vortech supplied piggy back system in the mean time until I can save up more money. My car ran super lean on the dyno and wasn't putting out the power it should. Rather than giving me the car back for me to deal with the head aches, they kept the car until it was finished and didn't give up. This is a rare service to run into. I've dealt with many shops in the past that will just give you the car back regardless how it's running.
They figured out the solution, which turns out that an adjustable map clamp made a night and day difference compared to the vortech map clamp that i provided them.
The customer service and overall quality can't be beat. You honestly get what you pay for when you come to this shop. Thank you Blacktrax and team for the amazing job you guys did!
