I met a girl last night who told me she contested by mail after driving down a one way street the wrong way, also in Marin. She got let off the ticket so maybe I am going to try that . I once contested a $275 parking ticket by mail and I won, so I think it is at least worth trying that route but I am going to have to check to see if contesting and losing means I would lose my right to traffic school. But if only having 1 point on your licence doesn't affect the insurance too badly, maybe i will save traffic school for next time. everyone tells me it is so blindingly boring, I am not sure i want to waste a summer saturday doing it.

I feel as if thought everyone fought instead of bending-over, cops would issue a lot less bs tickets if they knew they'd have to prove guilt.
