Default SF residents..... VC22500F SIDEWALK

vc22500f sidewalk = BULLSHIT

i only recently moved here and all of a sudden in one day i received two "blocking of sidewalk" tickets while i was at work at $100 each.

what i don't understand is that THERE IS PLENTY OF ROOM TO WALK DOWN THE SIDEWALK. i can't park in my own driveway??? really???

i just need to vent... i'm going to try and get these dismissed or at least reduced, with any luck.

yeah. it's recommended to park and block the entrance to the driveway rather than "blocking" the sidewalk by extending past your driveway.

yea u cant block the side walk, but you can park half way in or just park in front of your drive way. welcome to sf, home of nazi meter maids and strick parking regs. just wait till you get the not angling your wheels while down hil ticket, or the 10 inches away from curb one, or the your car gets vandalized. lol oh the joys of living in the city.

i'm currently in richmond district

i had to park outside because we needed the garage for something else for a few nights

sf parking laws are pretty gay. you'll never get a ticket like this in la........

but they're like hawks on DUI and speeding down there....

DPT sucks! I live in Sunset and I got one. I think my old neighbor reported me. She was a psycho law student from USF.

Gotta leave two of those 'squares' worth of room so people can walk. I know plenty of people who got pwnt for that one.
