I missed the first two games of the season due to being out of the country. Anyone wanna fill me in on how we beat Arizona by three? I heard we got lucky but couldnt believe it till i checked myself.

8-8 is a good prediction for the season. Somewhat generous too. Cant wait to finally see some ****ing niner football. 49er faithful represent.
matt leinert and alex smith both sucked it up big time. our secondary completely shut down the cardinals receivers. we were down until the last 2 minutes. alex smith ran the 2 minute drill pretty well, smith broke off a 20 + yarder run and then completed another 20 something yard pass to arnaz who then fumbled the ball into the endzone. luckily, we recovered it, and gore punched it thru the middle no problem.

second game, both teams had a muffed punt. gore broke off a 40+ yard run and took it to the house for a TD. alex again sucked it up and we got lucky because of the muffed punt. good field position for the score.

both games had very tense 4rths.

i agree Vernon needs to get the ball more. he complained a little about being open the whole game against the rams, but he really cant complain too much because we are 2-0. Vernon is a beast out there, it literally takes at least 3 guys to tackle him, but even then, most of the time he does not go down and will stumbled out of bounds first.

We got really luck with the touchback in the 3rd quarter.

The bounce into the endzone for a touchback was lucky, but if you look at replays, Clements knew what he was doing. Guess that's why they paid him the big bucks!

True, but still very lucky.

Thanks for the updates man. I cant believe how lucky we got off that fumble recovery after gaining 40+ yards. **** I wish I saw that game. Frank Gore is a fuggin monster. Sounds like smith is playing a whole lot better than last season as well. Both games sound like i would have been jumping off my couch screming my ass off in the 4th.

Davis is a beast and we should utilize him alot more. Figure he would be double teamed most of the game but we could also through to Battle (if he could hold the damn ball) or Darrel Jackson. Either way it looks like the offesnse is earning its keep. No injuries and we should be good to go.

Frisco ****ing Niners FTMFW!!!

Everyone knows that Gore is the man to stop, but why keep running the ball so much?
I kept saying that the whole first game. I'm crossing my fingers for 10-4. It certainly helps to beat Arizona finally since Mr. Nolan took over.

At the first game I kept saying...play action to Gore, go over the top to D-Jack or V.D. with a slow ass linebacker covering him!
