It was great seeing everyone today. Great cruise on HW35 to Woodside to Alice's Restaurant, then dinner and back to Westlake for more food at Nation's Hamburger. I didn't expect the meet to be this large. Looks like a lot of people showed up very early today. It was nice to see other types of cars too and familiar faces. It was also great, that the meet was kept quiet, without causing noise disturbance to businesses and/or residential neighborhoods across the street. It was especially nice to have a couple DCPD unit's presence by coming over to see what we were up to and to allow us to peacefully hang-out in the lot. See...DCPD aren't that bad as other counties. They're actually pretty cool, reasonable and understanding. Even the first shift security guard patrolled but didn't hassle us. All in all, it was a smooth-sailing meet. I wished some people picked up their garbage afterwards tho and not leave it behind. I noticed that in some group. *shrugs*

Last week was 20. This time was 30 something, according to Omar's count. But I know well over 40+ s2000 came and go. I'm pretty sure it was over 50 total but people had to leave, and some showed up later, and much later. I say most of the 'maybe's' showed up and some brought other s2k'ers.

Wanna say thanks to all that was involved in setting this up. Wife and I had a blast and it was fun meeting a whole bunch of new people and finally putting faces to screen names. Looking forward to next time.

Awesome meet, I met too many people, but I guess the easiest way is it was me with the flash unit flashing everywhere on almost every car! Haha. Really good turnout, only need proof from property management next time...so I can TAKE A PHOTO. Seriously? Lol
