Me and stephem got beat by the 1989 civics...all well we need practice.
They were highly modded mind you...power to weight ratio is really good.

STS civics are not higly modded.... they run stock D series, single cam motors, but really good suspension setup

good to see you mac and the rest of the gang that were there today.... sorry i didnt get to see you guys run, i was watching F1 and got there at 1145.

congrats on the 3rd place, sorry to hear you were sick/tired today.... theres always next season

congrats to randy and stephen on their first event...

thanks for the sweet comment mac, yeah next time you can ride... man 3 runs today wasnt enough for the tuning. but i think i got the right settings, only if i had good rear tires today, i woulda done a lot better. i started with full stiff up front and 75% stiff in the rear and first run was 63.3.... soften the rear some more and handling improved but rear tires just spinned at exits and no grip at all... best time was 61.2 and did a 60.3 during funruns, just tire pressure adjustments. man i need racetires for slush!

hope to see you guys again during slush and next season!! i will be driving a starlet so the S will only see fun runs
Nice seeing you Ken car is looking great! My first run was terrible but it was so much fun!!! I embarassed myself with windshield wipers flying everywhere and the car oscillating back and forth almost spinning out twice But on the last one I mustered a 61.5, then to find out I hit a cone so i guess that bumps it up to 63.5, Randy was still ahead of me legally by a couple tenths

Can't wait for Slush...But i'll be driving the S. Is that a good idea? how come your not driving the S?

nice run for the first event .... you are learning to drive the car with better suspension than stock, it woulda been different if it was stock. what tires were you running? haha i guess with your question about the RS2s, they grip really good when shaved but not all the way shaved down almost to the cords haha coz there was no grip at all.

yeah i might drive the S during slush and audi when its a rain event. but next year i will be driving a Starlet. Still being built right now

Thanks! I kind of want to try running an S2000 with stock suspension to see what the difference would be.

I was running the stock Ap2 tires... and thanks for the info on the Rs2's.

Is this the kind of Starlet your going to be running???
